I’m currently at the glass place around the corner from my house having a new windshield installed on the Nitro R/T because road debris+ freeze/thaw cycle makes foot long cracks in glass....

The sat/nav is getting replaced next because the stocker just continually resets. They are known to be problematic. The issue is I wanna put the aftermarket one in without hacking any wires, but it appears this may be impossible with regards to the main AM/FM antenna as well as the GPS antenna.

Add to that the rear left TPMS which CONSTANTLY leaks. I’ve replaced the seals on it 3 times and it still leaks at anything below 60 degrees, which is quite often in NY....

The seal kits are 12 dollars as opposed to the sensor which is about 80. The seals usually hold for a couple of weeks than leak again. The air compressor I have has been getting use to say the least. I haven’t been driving it that much in the past year due to purchasing the old Mark VII which has been flawless with 156k miles now showing. The Nitro is at a scant 79.... Did I mention the Nitro has had one of the cylinder heads replaced? And 2 wheel speed sensors?

When my kids were little and we needed to haul a lot of stuff when we took them places, the Nitro was perfect. The last road trip we went on the Focus did quite fine with all 4 of us and returned phenomenal gas mileage.

Me thinks it’s time to sell the Nitro....

Been there, done that. Radiator replaced, A/C accumulator, and the heater core as preventative maintenance since they were in there. All of this right after the 70K mark except for the head and one of the speed sensors.

Someone’s gonna get an SUV on a truck frame with 4WD and a whole mess of relatively new parts.
